Stegra
Niklas Wass heads Stegra’s operations for the future integrated green hydrogen, green iron and green steel plant in Boden, Sweden - Europe’s first greenfield steel plant in over 50 years.
Wass joined Stegra in 2025 after more than 22 years at the stainless steelmaker Outokumpu, from where he brought solid experience in electric arc furnace-based stainless-steel operations, leadership, operational excellence, and industrial transformation.
Wass left Outokumpu as President, Business Line Stainless Europe and previous roles include Executive Vice President, Operations, Business Area Europe, as well as running Outokumpu’s operations in Tornio and Degerfors.
