Vito Logar is an assistant professor at the faculty of electrical engineering, University of Ljubljana.
His research field consists of modelling, simulation, and optimization of electric arc furnaces processes. He has been involved in this field for 15 years and has published numerous papers in scientific journals and conferences describing different areas of EAF-process modelling as well as optimization approaches.
He was a leader of several projects (domestic, EU, and industrial) addressing different aspects of EAF efficiency, the latest being the EU Horizon 2020 SPIRE project: Inevitable (GA. 869815).
