Dr. Jeasook Chung is the group leader of the control and instrumentation research group at POSCO. He has studied the steelmaking process for over two decades.
With his domain expertise, he has been trying to shift its focus from traditional knowledge-and-experience-based improvements to AI-based smart manufacturing in the steelworks.
Jeasook received his PhD in mechanical engineering from POSTECH. He has been a researcher at the POSCO Technical Research Labs for 26 years.
